The Social Web

The use of social bookmarking could be a useful way for students to keep track of and/or share resources they find for a particular project.  I was already aware of this, but have never used a social bookmarking site because I prefered to add sites to my favorites to keep up with research etc.  After exploring how social bookmarking works, I now realize it can do so much more.  On of the best discoveries for me was the fact that you could tag sites and find others with the same tags thus increasing your research while decreasing the headache of finding all of that information yourself.  As a teacher, social bookmarking seems ideal for group projects.
